The School Prefectural Body :
DBGA has its own prefectural body which includes a Head Boy, Head Girl, Sport Captain, Sports Vice Captain, Heads and Vice Heads of all the four houses. There is an election conducted in school and all these prefects are elected in a parliamentary manner. This develops in children the enthusiasm of how the elections work and they get the idea about the same. A big ceremony called Investiture’s Ceremony is held every year and all these children elected are honored with badges. In this ceremony March-past is performed by the students and school flag is hoisted.
Career Counseling :
Career counseling is extremely vital at the senior level, as this is the time when the youngsters need to start thinking about their future careers, which needs a lot of focus and mature thinking. Unfortunately this is also the time when they are going through lots of confusions and emotional upheavals. Each one is trying to find his/her identity while at the same time trying not to be the odd one out .Our educators try to understand what motivates each student as well as his or her skills and desires in order to help them plan for their future career accordingly.
Career guidance starts in class 9th. At this stage students are encouraged to learn about and get information of various job profiles, which helps them to develop an awareness of the corporate world. The next stage of counseling comes off age in class 10th, when the students get to know about his/her aptitude and become aware of his/her interests and skills. Reputed career counselors are invited to the campus to speak and find the hidden talents and dreams of senior level girls and boys. These kinds of interactions are appreciated both by the students as well as the parents. The students are also made aware of the need to perform well in the CBSE exams, as these marks/grades play a major role in admissions at the university level. The 10th and 12th are the most crucial years as far as higher studies are concerned. This is the time when students prepare and appear for external tests like the CET, All India Medical and Engineering Entrance, etc. to enable them to get admissions in reputed colleges and universities in the country. They are made aware of the type of grades they require to enter the course and colleges of their choice, by being exposed to people of a large number of colleges and universities.
Sports and Hobbies Sports :
Our school aims to provide a very high standard of coaching and competition for the best of sportsmen while also enabling the less gifted ones to find something they can enjoy. Students can play sports every day and for the enthusiasts, there are outstanding opportunities to play and excel.
There is an interesting combination of friendly games and Inter-House competitions that can be enjoyed at a less demanding level, along with high end, intense competitions.
Students have the opportunity to play in tournaments and other league matches. Many students enter in cluster, zonal, regional, national and international competitions as well.
All our classrooms are spacious, well ventilated and have ample natural light. Also equipped with air conditioners, they ensure an ambient temperature during the summer month. They are equipped with the latest e-Learning tools and technologies to help make our students education as effective and interesting as possible.

A fully equipped science lab allows our students to learn and appreciate the wonders of experimentation. Backed by highly experienced teachers, our students regularly visit the lab to learn the wonders of science.
> Computer Lab
Computers play a key role in today’s world be it at work or at home. Our fully equipped computer lab, with a trained teacher, allows our students to learn the various aspects of IT that are necessary for the future. Apart from regular classes, they can also use the computers for their project work.
> Library
Our well equipped library seeks to instill the joy of books into our students, Staffed with a trained librarian, students can search for the books they desire through the online catalogue or simply ask the librarian for help.
> Auditorium
A fully air conditioned auditorium allows students to attend lectures and seminars by visiting dignitaries. Equipped with a comprehensive multimedia system, students also perform plays, conduct debates, etc. here.
> Canteen
The Canteen serves hot, healthy food to all our students at meal times. The students are joined by the staff for all the meals. Class teachers sit with their respective classes and supervise the meals.
> Play Ground
There is a play ground consisting of swings, slides, etc. for our younger students. It is overseen by a member of our staff to ensure the safety of our students.
> Hostel
We provide hostel facilities for out-of-station student. Located on campus, our full air conditioned hostel possesses all the amenities necessary for our boarders to stay comfortably. They are looked after members of our staff who stay with the boarders.
